Owner & Executive Chef Erik De Marchi
Owner and executive chef, Erik De Marchi, born and raised in Imola, Italy — followed his passion of choice and graduated from the IAL Culinary Academy of Emilia-Romagna (Italy). In 2002, Erik came to Los Angeles to work with Chef Gino Angeleini in his restaurant Angelini Osteria. After many years working in multiple Italian restaurants throughout Los Angeles, Chef Erik felt it was time to create his own experience. Oliver’s Osteria, named after his son (who was born the same day he opened), is a culmination of Chef Erik De Marchi’s dream of being a father and owning his own restaurant. After six years in Laguna Beach, Chef Erik decided it was time to expand with another location in Irvine with Oliver’s Trattoria.
